EU AI Assurance OS

Roles

Who EU AI Act release gates are for

Engineering, compliance, legal, data, product, and audit on the same release path. Typical first systems: claims, credit, recruiting, and internal assistants.

Built for everyone in the release path

AI Engineering Lead
Ship model and prompt changes behind a gate wired to eval scores you set. A failed run is a REVIEW or BLOCKED, not a Slack thread.
Compliance Officer
See, per system, which EU AI Act-style obligations are on file, with citations you can hand to an auditor — without claiming a legal determination.
Legal Counsel
Documented risk class, oversight records, and a hash-chained trail of who approved what. Counsel still owns the legal opinion.
Data Platform Lead
See schema drift before release. An open BREACH on an upstream contract is a hard stop, not a surprise in production.
Product Owner
A single PASS, REVIEW, or BLOCKED before launch, with the reasons — so go-live is not a committee of inboxes.
Auditor
Review who approved what, when, and on which evidence pack. The ledger is append-only.

Where teams usually start

One named system, not the whole estate. These are common first systems in the EU market — not a list of customers.

  • Insurance

Claims, advice, and contract-close assistants that already appear in public product copy.

  • Consumer credit

Scoring and automation in lending — high-stakes if the use is Annex III-shaped.

  • Recruitment and HR

Matching, ranking, and selection tools. Employment-shaped uses need extra care; this is not a legal class.

  • Internal assistants

Support RAG and chat that still need Article 50 disclosure even when they are not high-risk.
